The Junction Diner located just 30 minutes outside of Chicago in beautiful Forest Park is a must for any train loving child! This quaint diner is filled with fun train themed activities and toys for the kids. Our first visit to The Junction Diner was when my oldest son was three and he asks to come back all the time. There are several train themed attractions for the kids including a ride on a model animated train, playing with the wooden train set, a separate activity area for toddlers, a chalk wall for drawing, and multiple games in the arcade room!
In addition to the fun children's entertainment, there are delicious and healthy menu options for the whole family. The Junction Diner serves classic diner food from salads and wraps to burgers, breakfast is served all day, and even the pickiest of kiddos can find something eat on their expansive kids menu. Be sure to snag a seat at the bar for prime train viewing! High chairs are available for bar seats for the littlest members of the family! The best part? A train brings you your food! Adults and kiddos will love this place.
The Junction Diner is closed on Mondays but open Tuesday - Sunday 11am - 7pm.
